Job Description

Are you ready to join Airbus digital initiatives of mechanical design activities? You will not only be preparing the future but can expect to propose pragmatic, safe and quick solutions to the issues which pop-up regularly.

Do you know that doing stress, we interact with certification specialists and European authorities, but also we are collaborating with customer services by providing on structural aspects direct support to airlines in their daily business?

Let's take the opportunity to join our team to take the challenge of the incremental development of the A350XWB, the newest member of our widebody family.

This internship is to be filled from Febuary for 6 month (the dates are subject to a certain flexibility)

About us:

We are a team of 9 engineers leading all stress aspects across the Nose & Center Fuselage perimeter. Many of us are specialists in their domains on whom you can rely for help. Our team is a real playground for you to develop on a large scope of stress activities. We are perceived by our colleagues as pragmatic, reliable and caring about integrity

About your activity: 

• you will identify all the actors of Aircraft structural modifications management for certification

• you will capture the needs, constraints of each contributors

• you will propose a process which will consolidate the differents informations required by the structural modifications management

• you will propose an efficiant & digital way to manage this process, ideally ebam

• you will work with different teams, within Nose & Center Fuselage perimeter

• you you will have the oportunity to work with design & stress specialist, but also data scientist

About you

• You enjoy to understand and propose solutions

• You are naturally curious and fearless of asking dumb questions

• You love people interaction and you are customers' focused.

• You are able to step back and propose new ideas.

• You studied Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or Data Scientist engineering

• You have basic knowledge of overall aircraft design

Working in Airbus implies to work in an international environment, as such you shall be able to communicate easily in English. As Toulouse based, speaking French would help getting along with your colleagues.

Depending on the specifics of the offer, you may have to travel to another locations.
