Location: Donauwörth
Start: Autumn 2018
Duration: 6 months

The position offers a final year thesis in the area of CFRP manufacturing processes. The thesis will be all about the development of a manufacturing method to create dry fibre preforms for the next generation main hinge. The Thesis applies a systematic method and starts with the analysis of the status quo. This is especially true for manufacturing methods to create a 3D fibre architecture and to activate the binder system.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

In combination with the production task (volume, # of variants) the thesis will determine the data flow of the process and create a system architecture (alternatives) to manage the Information flow. In addition to that the thesis considers future Expansion Scenarios such as multi-company production, volume increase, Integration of External Partners in development and industrialisation.

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student (m/f) within Business Economies Engineering, Quality Engineering or similar field of study
·  Technical Experience within development of IT Systems / IT infrastructures
·  German / English: advanced

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
