Description of the job

A vacancy for a Eurofighter Avionic Release-Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “EF Qualification & Equipment Eng.”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Supervision of the replication process between the 4 Eurofighter Partner Companies
·  Changes to delegations within the Configuration Management System
·  Data customization and baseline creation within Configuration Management Systems
·  Creation of release documents and maintenance of a release database
·  Creation of data carriers and accompanying documents and their dispatch to the partner companies
·  Focal point for data exchange tasks via Secret Net
·  Management of software deliveries from partner companies
·  Preparation and implementation of regular Configuration Control Boards
·  Participation in national and international project meetings
·  Preparation of technical aircraft documentation

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You have the following knowledge and qualifications:

·  Completed studies in aerospace engineering or comparable
·  Experience in international Eurofighter project and process management
·  Knowledge of Eurofighter aircraft systems, in particular the avionic system
·  Good PC skills (MS Office, MS Project)
·  Knowledge of database systems including MS Access and configuration management systems
·  Analytical procedure
·  Ability to work in a team, independent and cooperative way of working
·  Fluent/business fluent in German and English
·  Knowledge of project controlling is desired
