Description of the job

A vacancy for a Eurofighter Avionic Release-Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “EF Qualification & Equipment Eng.”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Supervision of the replication process between the 4 EPCs
·  Changes to delegations within PCMS
·  Data customization and baseline creation within PCMS
·  Creation of release documents and maintenance of a release database
·  Generation of data carriers and accompanying documents and their dispatch to the partner companies
·  Focal Point for data exchange tasks via Secret Net
·  Management of software deliveries of partner companies
·  Preparation and implementation of regular configuration control boards
·  Participation in national and international project meetings
·  XRF and TAO creation

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree in aerospace technology or similar
·  Experience in international Eurofighter project and process management
·  Knowledge of Eurofighter aircraft systems, especially the avionic system
·  Good PC knowledge (MS Office, MS Project)
·  Knowledge of database systems including PCMS and MS Access
·  Analytical approach
·  Ability to work in a team, independently and cooperatively
·  Fluency in German and English
·  Knowledge of project controlling is desirable
