Description of the job

A vacancy for a System Verification Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “EMC Testing GE”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Preparation, performance, analysis, evaluation and documentation of on-A/C EMC verification tests
·  Definition, development, integration and documentation of test facility specific hard- and software for e.g. process control, data acquisition, data evaluation and visualization
·  Development/ maintenance of A/C specific test instrumentation incl. calibration/ test and on-A/C installation
·  Support measurement campaigns in two shift work

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
·  Know-How within Hardware- and software development/ maintenance
·  First experience with C, C++, LabWin CVI and LabView; WAGO I/O-Control, LON (Neuron C, Node Builder), Microcontroller; Data base management (ORCALE, SQL)
·  Team spirit; Working self-motivated and proactive, Flexible; disciplined and well balanced
·  Support measurement campaigns in two shift work
·  English / German: negotiation level
