Description of the job

An A350 Electrical system installation area leader (m/f) position based in Toulouse has arisen.

As part of Airbus Engineering, this department is in charge of electrical installation of harness and equipment design for Nose and Centre fuselage.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of 40 people. With you, we will tackle from day to day many challenges, being operational, organizational or innovative (eg. Digitalization).

You will work with experienced collaborators who will help you in your learning, your technical development and support you in performing your daily job. We are committed to put the development of people at the heart of our success, therefore you will receive all possible support on that matter.

Tasks & accountabilities

What will you do:

¤ You will learn to deliver drawings to manufacturing, FAL and NZ.

¤ You will learn to interact with Risk Sharing Partner and subcontractor.

¤ You will learn to work with cabin, structure and other systems.

¤ You will have the opportunity to develop autonomy, expertise in electrical installation, create your professional network (plants, chief engineer, program, maintainability, procurement, …) and acquire legal certification: TAP (Technical Approver), CVE (Compliance Verification Engineer)

¤ You will travel occasionally to plants, 6 to 10 days a year in order to support MAP team and Manufacturing Engineering team during the installation that you follow.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

About you:

Educated to Bac+2 in Industrial Product Design (CPI) or a related discipline.

Passionate about Aeronautical Technical aspects and New Technologies
You have knowledge on 3D design and Digital Mock-up consultation: CATIA V5 Assembly design (EHI/EHA is a plus)
Familiar with Office software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Naturally curious and fearless of asking dumb questions
Open-minded and always learning
