The internship duration is 4 to 6 months maximum.

We offer you to work in a world-leading company which is at the heart of a digital transformation, at the cutting edge of research and innovation.

We are looking for a Large Scale to detail Scale Simulation for metallic fatigue Predictive Virtual Testing hotspotting (m/f) who will be joining us at Airbus site in Toulouse.

This internship is to be filled from February 2020 (the dates are subject to a certain flexibility).

The mission of the placement will allow you to join the R&T Nose and Center Fuselage structure team within the Metallic Technologies Enablers group to work on innovative concepts in the field of numerical stress simulations and more precisely in metallic fatigue damage initiation.

·  Tasks and Responsibilities :

You will be working under the supervision of your manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

·  Your tasks will consist in building the link between different scale simulation levels: Global detailed simulation to Local detailed simulation modules developing the tools to extract the relevant information from the lower detailed level scale used at input for detailed upper scale,
·  You will work on Nose Fuselage team not only focusing on this perimeter but across overall fuselage Innovative structures simulation for which Global Scale and detailed scale simulations are available for Fatigue damage prediction.
·  Some physical Tests such as Nose Fuselage Cockpit scale 1 physical test which is running in 2019 could be used for correlation for Fatigue predictions as some already completed physical multi-level test pyramid structural details, interaction with the airbus test lab will be part of the opportunities of this placement.
