Description of the job

A vacancy for a Digitalisation Specialist (m/f) for Production has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Stade (Hamburg Area) at the earliest possible start date. You will join the department “Shopfloor Solutions Stade”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible to apply latest digitalization technology to the production plant Stade. You will discuss with production experts the value stream to identity opportunities for the usage of technology.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Analyse application possibilities of digital technologies in production
·  Close interaction with other digitalization teams/offices
·  Monitor technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment
·  Guide and supports the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies
·  Make recommendations for buy versus build decisions
·  Proves value of new technologies to establish business case

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Degree (or equivalent) in IT, Engineering or similar
·  Experience with digitalization topics/ digital technologies
·  Experience in production/shopfloor environment
·  You are curious and interested in new technologies
·  You have great communication skills and like to exchange with others
·  You have a “digital-native mind-set”
·  Language skills: English advanced level; German would be a great advantage
