Apsys delivers essential services across AIRBUS and provides Expertise in Technical, Human & Organizational Risks Management dedicated to Aerospace, Automotive, and Railway, Nuclear, Environment and Petrochemical industries.

Task & accountabilities :
For our customer in Donauwörth, APSYS is looking for a Material and Process engineer.

Your mission and responsibilities within the metallic material domain will include:

o Focus on the development/Qualification of reach compliant surface treatment process (Galvano-technics)
o Manufacturing /coating of samples in laboratory surface treatment facilities
o Coordination of manufacturing/coating of samples in production surface treatment facilities
o Investigation/tests on coated samples (coating thickness, corrosion resistance, strength, adhesion....)
o Analysis of results/properties of surface treatments
o Detailed documentation of all investigations and results
o Support for industrialization of surface treatment processes
o Performing internal and external audits in special processes in metallics domain
o Support Industry, Engineering and Support and Services in the all matters related to metallic materials and manufacturing process that might occur.

Required skills :
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

o Engineering degree, specialized in surface treatment (preferred), material science or similar
o Experience in Galvano technics and metallic materials
o Experience in the aviation industry
o Customer oriented mindset and open for challenges.
o Technical English in the field of materials and processes is mandatory
o German language skills is a plus
