Description of the job

A vacancy for a Data Analyst/Scientist (m/f) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Hamburg at the earliest possible start date. You will join ZIB - A320 Family IS.

Tasks & accountabilities

In Airbus we deal with a lot of complexity, to master this, we have the so called “Federator” team/service. Topics like Process Method & Tools, HR, and Data classification can be easily analysed and managed. Federator gathers and capitalizes company data and provides proposals for solutions and improvements to be implemented. Everything in Federator is digital and can be reused, capitalized and visualized at any time. You want to be part of our team?

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Contribute to the impact analysis requested by the Business
·  Prepare, animate and participate in workshops for VSM related to the Aircraft processes improvements
·  Define the analysis methods for complex systems within the company and use tools like Python, R, etc. to perform analysis
·  Design and drive workshops and organize the environment so that business will build the analysis and perform evolution decisions
·  Prepare Mapping of the information system related to Aircraft program
·  Ensure that a set of baseline maps are available to users in order to quickly and efficiently start analysis
·  Setup the Federator plateau in Hamburg and plan the plateau usage in regards of the business needs

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, mathematics, IT or a related discipline
·  Experience in analyzing and modelling data
·  Knowledge in programming
·  Knowledge in Python, R and Data Bases (SQL and NO-SQL)
·  Knowledge in Lean & Agile methods and continuous integration (for example DevOps)
·  Taking initiative and showing commitment
·  Autonomous and polyvalent personality
·  Curious personality and interest in new tools/methods/technologies
·  Good communication, presentation skills
·  Language Skills: Negotiation level of English and German
