Description of the job

A vacancy for a Customer Support User Help Desk Eurofighter (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TASSC5-TL4 - User Help Desk EF“

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Acceptance, examination and support of technical inquiries about the Eurofighter weapon system from national or international customers
·  Management and coordination of enquiries in cooperation with the Eurofighter IIP units and the corresponding

Engineering development departments

·  Performing help desk tasks both for Airbus Defence and Space in the EPC role and for the German Air Force in the NSC role
·  Comparison and evaluation of inquiries with existing data material
·  Participation in national and international (customer) meetings
·  Interface to the focal points of the SIS Eurofighter and other support areas
·  Monitoring and ensuring compliance with internationally and nationally agreed procedures and required performance parameters
·  Checking and handing over the developed answers and solutions to the inquirer
·  Formal completion of completed tasks and requests
·  Preparation of reports for reporting to the Head of Operations & Projects and to the Head of SUZ EF

Required skills

·  Completed studies (engineering / aerospace technology) or comparable training
·  Experience in a comparable role
·  First project management experience
·  Knowledge in the area of MRO or in-service support is an advantage
·  Very good knowledge of the Eurofighter weapon system is an advantage
·  Experience with military aircraft programs (e.g. Tornado, or A400M, ..)
·  Experience with workflow tools (preferably ASTECS, R&R, SASPF, SAP, GSS)
·  Ability to communicate and work in a team as well as very good language skills
·  Fluent in German and English
·  Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
·  Willingness to travel for meetings (national and international)
·  Willingness to work shifts and weekends as well as to take over on-call duty
