Description of the job

A vacancy for a Customer Service & Technical Support (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join „TASSC4-TL1 - Investigation Services”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

Processing or execution of customer enquiries:

·  Technical inquiries according to TESP 5
·  Tornado Defect Investigations after TESP 9

Support in the implementation of further TESP activities for Tornado:

·  Repair Scheme according to TESP 11
·  Provision of Contractor Engineering and Technical Services TESP 15 and for Eurofighter
·  Defect Investigations according to EFESP 2.2

Support of internal task management for ISS and BLK/TLB assignments

Main tasks:

·  Analysis of the sales order
·  Coordination of the procedure with Focal Point
·  Determination of the areas and suppliers involved
·  Coordination of procedures with clients, customers, manufacturers and suppliers
·  Creation of task descriptions and quantity structures
·  Execution of the internal commissioning of the participating disciplines
·  Initiation and tracking of the supplier's assignment
·  Coordination of all activities for the processing of customer enquiries
·  Coordination, determination and tracking of deadlines and milestones
·  Coordination and management of investigation meetings with suppliers
·  Coordination and annotation of result reports, replies etc.
·  Documentation of activities in the Tornado Support Engineering Management System (SEMaS) as well as workflow tools for Eurofighter (ASTECS and R+R)
·  Preparation of evaluations for statistical purposes

Required skills

You have the following knowledge and qualifications:

·  Engineer with completed studies of up to 4 years' duration or comparable qualification (e.g. technician with many years of service on aircraft)
·  Sound and cross-system knowledge of the WS Tornado required
·  Cross-system knowledge of WS Eurofighter desired
·  Relevant practical experience in technical support of military aircraft
·  Professional handling of MS-Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  Knowledge of Bundeswehr IT systems advantageous (e.g. IETD/IETP-X, SASPF)
·  Relevant professional experience in support of military aircraft (preferably Tornado) in industry and/or the air force
·  Experience in cooperation with partner companies / suppliers
·  Experience in cooperation with military departments / authorities
·  Customer-oriented thinking and acting
·  Good communication skills
·  Team-oriented approach
·  Fluent in German and English (Technical English urgently required)
