Description of the job

A vacancy for a Configuration Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “„TOR Qualification & Equipment Eng.”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

Your Main Tasks will be:

·  Configuration Control of development results (Documents, Software etc)
·  Plan & execute Configuration Management
·  Preparation and mainenance of documentation templates
·  Preparation and mainenance of project handbooks
·  Status reporting to relevant org units
·  Document management
·  Collecting the development results from different departments inside given timeframe and compile these into a build standard to be delivered to the customer and archived inside the configuration management System
·  Continous improvement
·  Definition and preparation of project kpi
·  Support to visual management

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree in Electronic Science, Computer Science, Aerocautical Engineering or similar
·  Experience in the area of Engineering and with information systems
·  Experience in Project Management
·  English fluent
