One position for a Big data solution architect (d/m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in MARIGNANE.

Tasks & accountabilities

Integrated in the 'BI and analytics' Product and Service line, the main missions of the Big Data solution architect will be the following:
• Understanding emerging and evolving end user usage models and requirements in Big Data and advanced analytics
• Qualify appropriate platform to address business requirements (classic BI or big data platform)
• Design and document solutions architecture to meet those requirements and specifying an implementation HW and SW solution stack.
• Evaluate feasibility, costs and planning for implementing business requirements related to big data
• Integrate big data use cases and tools in the existing company information system (interfaces, flows etc.)
• Create roadmaps and recommendations regarding usage of big data platform and tools
• Act as a technical referent regarding the understanding of big data platform hardware and software components
• Lead the technical and functional design of new enterprise data hub, to be used by data governance team
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Required skills

For these missions, the following experiences are necessary:
• Experience in Requirements Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment
• Strong experience in BI and Analytics, data governance, cartography, modeling, security management, data lineage
• Strong experience of Cloud solutions (AWS) and Palantir products (Foundry)
• A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development and a across more than one technical domain.
• Strong Devops and Agile methodologies experience
• Strong communication skills and team spirit.
• Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration.
Advanced level in English and French is necessary

• Hadoop : Spark - HBASE –HIVE
• Python – SQL –(R)
• HTML5 – NodeJS
• Devops
• Github
• Qlik Sense / Spotfire or any visualization tool
