Description of the job

A vacancy for a Avionics System Requirements Engineer (m/f) Tornado has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TOR System Design”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Preparation of subsystem requirements and high level SW requirements in DOORS for the Tornado avionics subsystem
·  Analysis of rig and flight test results
·  Support the definition of ARP4754- and DO178-compatible development processes
·  Preparation of/contribution to development plans and process documents

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, aerospace engineering or similar
·  Professional experience in Engineering
·  Experience in System Engineering development processes and tools e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect etc.
·  Experience with the integration of avionics and weapon systems
·  Ability to abstract, creativity, accurateness, customer orientation, formal working, ability to work in a team
·  English fluent
