Job Description

Mission

Within the Flight Physics Department of ATR Engineering, the candidate will assure the following functions:

·  Flight Physics Focal point for all of the activities related to a/c External Noise certified levels, community noise and Cabin internal noise control.
·  Monitoring of the Noise impacts involved with general modifications (Changes to Type Certificate) and incremental development process. 

The candidate will perform these activities in collaboration and with the assistance with the Acoustics Department of Airbus in the framework of the relationship between ATR and Shareholder Partners.

Activities

·  Follow-up of Certification Rules evolution (Compliance to noise Chapters/Stages).
·  Support to Marketing and Sales (i.e. a/c Noise footprints at Airports,….).
·  Support studies and find solutions in case of deviations from design target on production aircraft at delivery.
·  Verification of non-regression of Cabin noise levels at a/c delivery.
·  Propose new design opportunities to improve treatments for cabin noise reduction such as noise isolation, Vibration absorbers,)
·  Assist team members for Cabin noise measurements at delivery.
·  Analyze acoustic design and support tests when requested.
·  Coordinate with Acoustic Teams of ATR Shareholders Airbus and Leonardo.
·  Prepare Technical Reports and general documentation for change certification process.
·  Manage simulation tools for acoustic analysis, monitor software packages and perform noise modeling.

Profile

·  BAC +5
·  knowledge of Noise certification rules (Annex 16 to the ICAO - FAA FAR Part 36)
·  Minimum 5 years of experience in aeronautical noise related activities.
