Description of the job

Are you passionate about mechanical engineering and do you want to develop both your design and Stress  competences?

Then this could be the ideal role for you.

You will join the Nose & Center Fuselage (NCF) engineering teams and be part of an integrated team having the global view on aircraft system installation design and justifications.

Within our team, you will have the opportunity to work on, amongst other things: Development activities, Certification activities, Methods & Tools improvements, Weight saving, Design to Cost and Manufacturing support.

You will join a dynamic team part of a multi-program plateau involved in a wide range of activities, systems and suppliers, from pre-design, development, modification, to manufacturing and in-service support.

You will have also the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural and transnational environment which is personally rewarding.

Tasks & accountabilities

More particularly as part of your job you will be involved in:

-Managing different activities of system installation workpackages and provide support to the others WP/group leader if needed.

This means but not only:

- Lead and manage the RSP activities

- Check and validate the inputs to be provided to the RSP but also their deliverables.

- Support all internal activities linked to system installation (CR investigation, IP follow-up, reporting, design studies/investigation, exchange with architects/manufacturing, chief engineering team...)

- Support to manufacturing (DQN, QSR, MAP etc...).

- Answer to customer services request (SB, technical requests ...)

- Ensuring analytical sizing of metallic parts for system installation

- Checking structural analysis reports,

- Preparing stress sheets and stress reports for structural components.

Required skills

We are looking for a young-graduate Design & Stress system installation engineer:

·  An experience in system installation is a plus (design investigation, design principles, integration rules [SIDP, TDD, SIRD..], exchange with architects etc...)
·  Autonomous, curious and proactive.
·  Open minded and synthetic with capability to step back from activities and propose new ideas.
·  With the capability to face complex situations and take data driven-decisions by using data analytics or model-based system engineering platforms.
·  Graduated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
