Job Description

ABOUT US 

By being part of the Customer Services Engineering, you will join a department of about 350 skilled and engaged people:

-          Managing a budget of 80 Meuros,

-          Dealing with 82000 queries per year (including 10000 Aircraft On Ground),

-          Supporting the Safety process by issuing 4600 occurrences per year

-          Actively supporting the resolution of 240 Major In-Service Problems

-          Highly contributing to our Customer satisfaction

 

Within our team, you will specifically focus on in-service engineering structural topics linked to ATA 54 (Pylons), ATA 55 (Horizontal Tail Plane / Vertical Tail Plane) and ATA 57 (Wings), covering the whole Airbus commercial fleet and all customers (Operators, Maintenance Repair Organizations, Lessors).

 

You will be part of a team composed of 19 people, where we highly focus on our products’ safety, customers’ satisfaction and people’s well-being.

 

On daily basis, you will be in direct contact with our customers and a significant number of Airbus stakeholders (Design Office, Repair Organizations, AOG center, Chief Engineering, Programs, Manufacturing, Warranties, …).

This will give you a great opportunity for improving your knowledge on our products and developing your network within Airbus organization.

 

 

YOUR MISSION  

Being part of Customer Services Engineering, your mission is to:

-          Answer in-service queries

-          Investigate in-service problems

-          Exploit in-service experience

 

Answer in-service queries

You will be responsible for:

-          Answering technical queries raised by Customers within the defined time scale and expected level of quality,

-          Identifying action for post-treatment

 

Investigate in-service problems

You will function as a key actor for:

-          Anticipating recurring queries with:

o   Communications and exchanges with our customers (written, webex, face to face),

o   Continuous improvement of our technical documentation

-          Actively contributing to the fleet-wide issue investigations by:

o   Identifying the Safety / Continuous Airworthiness topics,

o   Supporting the Major In-Service Problem process,

o   Communicating to the customers on technical topics status & progress

 

Exploit in-service experience

You will be empowered to:

-          Propose and develop R&T and innovative projects

-          Propose and develop engineering services:

o   On-site assistance,

o   Engineering workshops,

o   Expert forums

You will share your time between the Front Office (answering daily queries) and the Back Office (Investigating in-service problems, exploiting in-service experiences).
