Poste et missions:
For Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn within the department “Product Environ. Compliance & Ecodesign we are looking for a highly motivated VIE. For graduates who are interested in a career within Airbus Defence and Space, this could be the start of a rewarding future in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector.
The department is responsible, among other, for the definition and the implementation all activities in order to promote innovative technologies, industrial processes and Ecodesign methodologies to foster eco-efficiency of Airbus Defence and Space’s products throughout their life cycles.
Your mission will be to support the concept definition, implementation and activities concerning Environmental Data Management and Ecodesign Tools.
Start: May 2017
Duration: 12 months
In this context, your main activities will include:
- Acquiring knowledge concerning and defining data necessary for product declarations on substances/hazardous materials, Conflict Minerals, Critical Raw Materials and other related topics
- Supporting the definition and implementation of Ecodesign activities (EcoDesign and Sustainability Indicator, Environmental Impact Evaluations…)
- Supporting Life Cycle Assessment activities for selected Airbus Defence and Space products
- Performing on request Environmental Impact Evaluations and Compliance Analysis (e.g. with SAP EHSM Tools)
- Participating to the benchmark and evaluation of appropriate tools
- Creating documentation and templates related to Environmental Data Management (e.g. creation of “BASMAT” i.e. objects used to describe materials by means of chemical material identifiers) and Tools
Profil:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- University degree in Information Technology, Natural Science, Environment or equivalent
- First experience in Engineering and Information Systems
- MS-Office-knowledge, in particular: ACCESS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Database knowledge and SAP knowledge would be a plus
- Good analytical abilities and structured way of working
- Prior knowledge on environmental data and tools would be a plus
- Chemicals and/or materials understanding
- Good presentation skills
- English: Negotiation level
- German: would be a plus
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
