Purpose & Function Description:

The general purpose is to be a financial expert to the respective business partner by giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. These functions support the business to achieve (fiscal) targets. This is supported by the creation of transparency about business performance through business controlling.

We are a business partner providing support, guidance and clarity to group tax and the various markets. We support them in correctly reflecting the group business model, in line with the group tax guidance. This requires a detailed understanding of markets and the Trading company, the creation and monitoring of adequate and effective policies and processes, correct and timely reporting as well as in-depth analyses combined with competent and professional business partnering.

Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Ensure compliance of adidas International Trading BV and the various markets through adequate analysis and accurate reporting in order to enable group tax to effectively and efficiently manage their business .

Key Responsibilities:

Transfer Price Model:

· Maintain and run the Transfer Price model
· Enable fact based decision by creating transparency throughout the Budget and Forecast process
· Support budget process to calculate and upload transfer prices
· Support permanent review of areas actual results, legal P&L incl. detailed analysis of issues and variances to budget
· Support review of areas RFC during the year
· Support adjustment process of Transfer Prices if necessary
· Support review of Transfer Prices together with Group Taxes
· Close communication with areas and regions

Legal P&L reporting & maintenance:

· Set up and maintain reporting package of aITBV’s legal P&L
· Support to monitor and steer aITBV legal P&L in close collaboration with FSS and respective business area manager of aITBV
· Support the year end audit and fulfillment of auditor requirements
· Challenge and improve FSS processes in line with legal standards

Projects:

· support go-lives of new areas in TradeCo
· improve existing processes and structure
· manage medium sized projects and/or actively participate in projects; implement results and ensure sustainability of achievements

Royalties:

· Maintain and run monthly / quarterly aITBV royalty expense calculations for brands adidas, Reebok and Rockport
· Support budget / forecast process to calculate and upload royalty expense calculations
· Support review of actual results incl. detailed analysis of issues and variances to forecast and budget
· Close communication with RIL UK and license controlling

Continuous learning and proactive contribution:

· Ensure continuous learning with respect to Transfer Pricing
· Acquire excellent knowledge about financial and legal specifics of aITBV
· Constantly optimize day to day processes and systems
· Provide expertise for assigned functional areas and processes towards team and business partners.
· Ensure smooth operation of day to day business by taking on ownership for related actions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· Good skills in ERP systems (SAP) and reporting tools
· Fluent in English (oral and in writing)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· University background with specialization in Finance / Controlling
· 2-4 years upwards working experience
· Generic knowledge of IFRS and local Gaap
