Purpose

As the Assistant Manager, Employee Engagement & Community Service, you will support the involvement of adidas employees in the U.S Social Purpose mission by coordinating employee engagement, planning, communications, community service project planning, research, non-profit relationship management and the overall advancement of our social purpose employee engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

This position provides the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of Social Purpose employee engagement and community service related responsibilities which may include the following:

· Develop Social Purpose specific engagement events and community service projects
· Develop and implement a holistic tracking system for Social Purpose volunteering projects
· Support the growth of employee engagement in our Social Purpose mission
· Manage employee volunteer events including communication, volunteer recruitment, and event management, evaluating and recapping results
· Manage community events with external partners
· Promote community service opportunities and stories through the adidas internal communication platform
· Manage financial reporting and budgeting information for reporting purposes
· Research best practices within corporate social responsibility and share insights with organization

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

· Education and/or experience in the areas of community programs, non-profit charities, corporate responsibility or philanthropy
· Ability to work independently on projects applying appropriate expertise and decision-making
· Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
· Strong project management skills and event coordination experience


Minimum Qualifications

· 2-3 years’ experience working in a corporate environment, preferably in the CSR space
· Four-year college degree with emphasis on business or marketing
· Strong interest, experience, or study around CSR (corporate social responsibility) topics
