Purpose : This position is responsible for overall carrier performance for the domestic outbound transportation. In this role, you will create the framework and dashboards to measure, monitor, and report metrics to drive carrier performance. This role is also responsible for invoice processing, claim filing, and payment resolution.

This person must have the ability to work with internal, external and 3rd Party customers to achieve set goals and KPI’s. This position will require an aggressive and independent working attitude and mentality to be successful. The position requires advanced Excel, Access, and Tableau skills to perform a deep dive analytics into transportation spend and develop recommendations based on findings. This position is responsible for the support of all brands and the transportation management team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Publish a monthly carrier performance reports for all domestic carriers. Measure and monitor the KPIs. Ensure that the carriers are meeting/exceeding their performance SLAs.
· Responsible for timely payments to all domestic carriers. Resolve all payment exceptions promptly and carry out root cause analysis. Ensure that the corrective action taken for billing exceptions is shared with the appropriate person and or groups.
· Establish claims filing process for domestic carriers. File proper claim documentation to ensure payment. Monitor and track each claim until payment is received and recorded.
· Ability to effectively interact and build a favorable business relationship with all carriers and customers.
· Ability to influence a carrier to provide capacity during all supply / demand cycles
· Work with cross functional teams to drive overall network performance
· Participate/lead global projects/initiatives as needed.

Key Relationships:

· Internally: Distribution, eCom, Retail and Finance, all brands and business units
· Externally: 3PL’s and domestic carriers
· 3rd Party Bill Pay and Audit Company

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent analysis and data management skills with demonstrated ability to organize data and prepare reports in a logical manner
· Attention to detail and ability to navigate systems to obtain data required.
· Strong project management skills
· Knowledge of Transportation process.
· A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Access, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.
· A consensus building, upbeat team contributor that can function as a future manager
· Ability to take ownership of a project, prioritizes effectively, and ultimately drives the project through to completion.
· Self-motivated, high energy that can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment.
· Comfortable working with cross-functional teams across multiple businesses
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both formal and informal communications
· Must have strong verbal and presentation skills; to conduct meetings and make presentations to direct manager and project teams

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

B.S in Analytics, Business or Engineering. Six Sigma preferred.

2-3 years of experience in the supply chain or logistics industry or finance.
