My client who is established and provides plastic building products to the trade is recruiting for a Stock Controller to join their established team. Based in Leeds the role with involve ordering and managing stock for multiple branches, checking goods in and stock checks.

Responsibilities

*Create and manage Purchase Orders
*Account for and manage damages
*Check Goods In and record on operating system
*Identify stock issues for customer deliveries and liaise with the sales office
*Weekly cyclic stock checks
*Yearly stock takes in conjunction with Branch Manager and Warehouse Manager
*Managing inter-branch transfers
*Stock adjustment management
*Stock reconciliations
*Liaise with suppliers
*Proactively assess stock holding making any necessary adjustments in line with demand
*Proactively assess stock locations and make any necessary changes
*Plan for Goods In and effectively manage the deliveries and collections of these goods
*Create and manage new products on the operating system
*Create any necessary sales orders
*Working with the accounts team to ensure correct reporting of stock activities
*Any other ad-hoc duties

Additional Duties

*During busy times help in the picking of sales orders

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong mathematical, reasoning and decision making skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, good attention to detail and good working knowledge of Excel. Have previously been heavily involved with full stock takes and have previous multi-depot stock control experience.

Dependant on experience the role will offer up to £23,500 for the successful candidate.
