Finance Analyst

Location: Coventry

Contract Duration: On-going

Start date: Asap

The Role

Our market leading automotive manufacturing client are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join their team based in Coventry!

You would be reporting on and analysing profit, whilst working closely with numerous budget holders. In addition, the network development part of the role includes financial criteria assessments for all three automotive brands, using the contractual requirements of the network to ensure full compliance and highlighting any relevant risks identified.

Further duties:

·  Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

·  Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.

·  Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.

·  Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.

·  Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and processes.

·  Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and systems.

Skills required:

·  Previous experience in forecasting and analysis

·  Previous experience with month-end

·  Strong communications skills with senior management

·  Good Microsoft Excel

·  Excellent numeracy skills

·  Sigma knowledge desirable

·  Financial qualification (part of fully qualified) preferred e.g - CIMA, AAT, ACCA
