Key tasks

MISSION

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be an enthusiastic and motivated person with strong Front Office background.

You will be responsible for ensuring that service standards are maintained in all the areas, profitability maximised and customer’s needs met. Ensure AccorHotels guest loyalty and recognition program is maintained and delivered to it’s highest standards.

Management of the day-to-day operation of Front Office & Night Audit functions, while liaising with departments as required.

Motivate and empower team members to problem solve and surprise our guests with novelty. Ensure that the front office team establishes and maintains an ongoing quality improvement programme through use of Voice of the Guest and take action on any feedback.

Ability to over see the hotel operation in the absence of the Operations Manager.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

•Minimum 2 years of experience as assistant manager is essential.

•Excellent attention to detail.

•Highly organised & proactive.

•Solutions orientated.

•Shows initiative & self motivation.

•Excellent communication skills.

•Ability to prioritise & multi task.

•Customer centric champion.

•Personal & professional integrity.

•Passion for developing and leading a team.

•Drive for success-goal orientated.

•Current GM Certificate or able to obtain.

•Previous experience leading a team.

•Experience with Opera.

•Full drivers license.

•Eligible to work in NZ.
