Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.

The Application Development Specialist develops and designs technologies that improve the way our clients and the world works. Supporting the core of Accenture's Technology business, they are eager to learn and use that curiosity to solve Technology problems through developing, designing, and configuring software products or systems that enable client strategies. They use their versatility and experience to design technology solutions that meet client requirements from analysis to implementation.

Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems .
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor . May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance .
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside .
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

The Oracle Technical Administrator will work with multiple oracle technology components for different clients. The individual provides support for production and non-production (development, test, and UA) environments. A qualified candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the Fusion Middleware (FMW) and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application technology stack and the underlying database. This role will also be responsible for providing critical Oracle technical support as well as for supplying technical direction and guidance to our junior resources. Requires a thorough understanding of complex architectures (utilizing new features of Oracle) and extensive proactive performance tuning.

Basic Qualifications




·  A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Application DBA or Oracle SOA administrator on Unix Platform
·  Bachelor's degree or 12 years equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience with any of the following
·  Oracle Business Intelligence
·  Oracle Fusion Middleware
·  Oracle Access Manager
·  It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve clients, our employees must be able to travel when needed. This role requires flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday through Thursday).
