Internship pepper tourguide - Heerlen

Your impact
The goal of this internship is to create visual awareness for Pepper, the humanoid robot.

Pepper should be able to identify her current location within an enclosed domain and move to predefined landmarks. At every landmark Pepper should give a short speech (also predefined).

These landmarks will be created by you. E.g. a big red ‘X' on the ground.

Pepper has a built-in SDK which enables her to take pictures and move around. It's your job to implement a smart algorithm (Image Processing, Feedback Loops, etc) to achieve the abovementioned goal.

During this internship, you will be working with:

1. Pepper
2. Choregraph (software tool for Pepper)
3. Image Processing
4. Location uncertainty and estimation

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Your background
- Graduation internship or masters study
- Knowledge of/experience in: Python, basic AI
- Interest in: Image Processing, Robotics
