Sr Network Security Engineer Job Responsibilities:

· Design, implement and troubleshoot network security tools for enterprise customers (preferably within a data center environment)

· Perform installation, configuration, tuning, and administration of a Cisco based data communications network and network security devices,

· Perform analysis on event monitoring of network security solutions, and recommend and implement configuration changes to the SIEM (Splunk and/or FortiSIEM)

· Ensure existing network infrastructure and configuration standards are adhered to when delivering projects

· Deploy and document changes in accordance with enterprise project management lifecycle and change management processes

· Take initiative to proactively identify solutions to potential network issues / embrace network simplification and strengthened security

· Collaborate on problem management and root cause analysis discussions with fellow network engineers, security engineers and analysts

· Support the Security Impact Analysis (SIA), an analysis that is conducted by the security team to review the extent to which changes to the information system will affect the security state of the system

· Participate in testing and planning of operational network segmentation

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

· 
7 years of hands-on experience with all phases of network engineering, incident response, security engineering, and intrusion detection on an operational network

· 
CCNA or CCDA certification

· 
1 year of experience in security configuration of network and security devices in a large enterprise environment (routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)

· 
1 year of experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting one (1) or more of the following Cisco security technologies: ISE, IPS/SourceFire, ASA, CSM, ThreatGRID/AMP, ESA, WSA

· 
1 year of experience with TCP/IP protocols

· 
1 year of experience routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP) and layer 2 protocols and technologies

· 
US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

CCNP, CCDP, and CCIE or similar industry certifications are preferred

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
