Accenture Federal Services is looking for a self-motivated, high energy, team player with excellent systems integration and communication skills to develop and improve DevOps services for Government and Defense mission critical programs. The candidate will design, develop/configure, test, and deploy a portfolio of custom and COTS applications that provide enterprise DevOps services. The candidate will use their experiences with systems administration, cloud infrastructure, software development, and/or agile scrum to further the capabilities and value of DevOps services. The candidate will deliver new capabilities and support existing systems. The candidate must have the ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment on quick response projects and will have regular contact with customers.

The selected candidate will be expected to:

· Analyze problems or issues and develop recommendations
· Collect and document system requirements
· Develop system design specifications
· Develop/configure/integrate and test software
· Automate testing, infrastructure stand up, deployment, monitoring, and other development and operational activities
· Use prior software development or scripting experience to debug errors and identify solutions
· Provide tier 1, 2, and 3 production system support.
· Learn DevOps principles and administration of DevOps tools

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

·  2 years experience with scripting or development languages such as Java, C++, .Net, Python or similar
·  3 years experience with agile software development/engineering or unix/linux systems administration
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with Government leadership, customers and team members
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·  US Citizenship; dual citizens not eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience with software development tools including agile project management (Jira), collaboration (Confluence), source code repository (GitHub), continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins), library management (Nexus), code/application scanning (Arachni, Nessus, SonarQube, etc), and log file auditing (ELK)
·  Experience administering cloud infrastructure or developing in a cloud environment such as AWS

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
