Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is looking for a Junior Market Access & Pricing Manager (m/f), based in Wiesbaden. The position holder supports Market Access operational approach for ADC portfolio products with the aim of ensuring strong market penetration and accelerating current growth

• Supports Contracting & Tendering & Pricing processes
• Supports to develops appropriate KPI`s for established contracting processes
• Monitors relevant reimbursement developments in the statutory and private payer segment
• Position reports to the Head of Market Access Operations

Responsibilities:

• Supports cross-functionally integration of payer contracts and monitors closely development with defined KPI`s
• Contributes to execute action plans to address upcoming market access operational challenges. (e.g. tender business, competitor pricing, healthcare legislation)
• Provides pricing data analysis and supports Head of Market Access Operations to explore and establish new pricing models in collaboration with payers (risk sharing, performance-based pricing, combo pricing etc.)
• Monitors relevant reimbursement developments in the statutory and private payer segment
• Supports central payer projects with the objective to penetrate market potential of key payer customers
• Supports development of Market Access launch plans for new products with operational focus
• Develop and provide periodic reports and analyses

Qualification:

• Advanced degree in science, economics or related areas.
• Ideally additional qualification in public health, health economics or health policy
• First experience in pharma / medical device industry, health policy or related functions of payers / market access consultancies / disease management organizations (market access or related functional areas) or as working student after earning an academic degree
• Understanding of the German public / private payer system.
• Ability to analyze information, assess risk potential and develop appropriate operational plans based on these insights.
• Good Project Management skills
• Fluent in German and excellent English Skills
• Travel up to 20%
