Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. Our product portfolio includes Freestyle Libre, a recently launched system that is revolutionising how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. We currently have an opportunity for a Part Qualified Financial Analyst to join our UK Operations Finance team, based in Oxfordshire, supporting the significant manufacturing capacity expansion underway at the Witney site plus other Operational and R&D projects.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial and non-financial stakeholders in accounting activities, focusing on capital and project expense, including budgeting, forecasting, and modelling. Building relationships with these operational teams, you will work on variance analysis, improving long term planning processes and financial controls, CAPEX proposals, and procurement. You will also collaborate with colleagues on other expansion activities across ADC in Ireland and USA.

To be successful, you will be an ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified and bring a breadth of experience of FP&A, combined with strong analytics. Working knowledge of SAP, TM1 and Oracle (Hyperion/Essbase) is preferred, and experience of AS400 ERP beneficial. We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, highly organised, and excited about joining a team at the forefront of Diabetes Care innovation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a small team, but interact on a wider business scale. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
