Assists the marketing communications Power Grids North America team with the development and coordination of external and internal marketing communications programs to promote the value proposition of Power Grids North America products and solutions. Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments, and 3rd party marketing agencies to assist with digital marketing communications, trade show, external, and internal event activities.

Tasks:

• Assist with the execution of Power Grids NAM marketing related communications activities, including internal/external communications activities, tradeshows, social media, internal events and other programs.
• Ensure that all marketing communication activities are performed to a high standard, in a professional manner, achieving the look and feel of the corporate brand and image.
• Assist with the preparation of external and internal marketing communication materials for trade shows, internal and ABB customer events including logistics, communications, branding, etc.
• Work closely with the Power Grids communications team to identify needs and areas of support.

Requirements:

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or other related discipline
• Passion and interest in marketing and marketing communications, specifically in digital marketing
• Experience with writing, editing and producing content for various communications channels is desired
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and fluent English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with software used by marketing communications including Adobe suite, Photoshop, In Design, Flash, CMS. HTML design a plus.
• Web/online technology experience with marketing automation platforms is a plus
• Video production and editing experience is a plus
• This position is located in Raleigh, NC
• Self-starter, strong networker with an interest in technology issues and have strategic thinking capability combined with hands-on approach to translate plans to actions and monitor and report on progress.
