Job description

Corporate Research Center located in Krakow is one of seven ABB research units in the world. Here we create innovative solutions for our products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to work on international projects in interdisciplinary scientific teams. To our team we are looking for students of technical universities.

Tasks:

- Acquisition and processing of statistical data using IT tools;
- Statistical analysis and statistical modelling;
- Implementing the logic on data for use in appropriate data models;
- Implementation, maintenance and development of analytical models.

Requirements:

- Student at 3rd - 4th year of Mathematics/Econometrics/Computer science/Electrical Engineering or similar field;
- Basic knowledge in area of data preparation, mathematical modelling, statistics, and time series analysis;
- Knowledge in programming areas: Python, R; knowledge of Matlab and SQL is a plus;
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation (English);
- Good command of written and spoken English;
- Motivated to learn in new areas;
- Knowledge in operation of electrical transmission and distribution power systems will be an advantage.
