Job Summary :

In order to support continued growth, Flemington is undertaking several initiatives such as investing in new equipment and renewing/replacing older equipment, driving product/process understanding/optimization and driving Lean changes throughout the plant.

In support of these initiatives the person hired for the position of Process Engineer will provide technical leadership to assigned key processes and product lines.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Leads projects and programs to improve safety, environmental performance, productivity, and overall operational efficiency of the equipment often using Lean Principles and Six Sigma Tools
·  Implements ideas and programs to support division and focus factory goals to deliver on safety, cost, quality, and process understanding and improvement
·  Determines the best and most effective way to implement ideas in an autonomous fashion using a variety of tools as well as area resource teams
·  Supports production of standard and evaluation products through process understanding, process improvement, and interaction with product teams

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university
·  Minimum one (1) year of experience as a manufacturing, process and/or product engineer

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical and/or mechanical engineering from an accredited University
·  Minimum three (3) years of experience as a manufacturing, process and/or product engineer
·  Experience in a manufacturing setting, cost reduction projects, ability to apply statistical tools and complete data analysis (SPC, MiniTab, Excel)
·  Experience working in a Medical Device regulated manufacturing environment
·  Knowledge and experience using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology for problem solving, project management, control plans, and/or continuous improvement
·  Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, ability to be flexible in a fast paced environment, project management and ability to manage a number of concurrent projects
·  Ability to work off shift in a limited basis when required
·  Ability to accept calls and provide guidance and instruction during off hours

Location:  Flemington, NJ
Travel:  May include up to 10% domestic
Relocation:  Is authorized
