As Finance Controller you are the contact point for the management of our rapidly growing Offprice business (Zalando Lounge and Outlets)

YOUR TASKS

·  You are part of our Finance Controlling team and will be the sparring partner for one of our rapidly growing businesses
·  You are the go-to person responsible for all financial key figures of the business unit
·  You’ll work closely with management, e.g. to optimize the sales and cost development. You’ll use driver analyses to derive recommendations for action from the current business
·  You’ll support the management in preparing the monthly and quarterly reports – especially when it comes to commenting the cost and sales development
·  It’s also part of your remit to set up plans, budgets and forecasts and to lead certain work streams independently
·  You’ll further develop tools and reports on a conceptual and content level
·  You’ll regularly present the financial development of your area of responsibility
·  You’ll take over projects in Finance Controlling, also with cross-functional focus. Thereby, you’ll get in contact with a big variety of topics, including the development and preparation of new business models

WHAT YOU’VE GOT

·  You’ve an above-average university degree in business, specialized in controlling, finance or accounting, is a feather in your cap
·  You've gained professional experience in a comparable field, e.g. in strategic, process or finance controlling or consulting 
·  You're an Excel expert and routinely work with the MS Office package
·  Daily correspondence and negotiations in English are familiar territory for you
·  SAP FI is part of your daily routine and ideally you also know data base tools 
·  Ideally, you’ve gained insights into e-commerce, fashion or retail already
·  Your amazing analytical skills mean you work efficiently and in a goal-oriented way
·  Even in a very dynamic environment with fast-paced changes, you find it easy to stay on top of things
·  Negotiation is in your blood, and you always cut a compelling figure when communicating with project stakeholders
·  You have fun challenging existing standards and processes and love optimizing them continuously
·  You are fluent in English, German is a plus
