Hardware Engineer Electronic Design (Ref.Nr. 1709757)

in the Transportation System division at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

In this role you are responsible for design and documentation of electronic equipment for safety critical systems.

It also involves the following tasks:

· Electronic Design for SIL4 Safety Critical Transportation Systems focused on digital and analog electronic.
· Implementation of specification in line with safety, functional and cost requirements.
· Functional and schematic design with simulation and PCB Layout Support .
· Manufacturing documentation including Bill of Material compliance to internal and normative standards
· Verification of design and layout with respect to timing and signal integrity
· Perform prototype testing and verification
· Support environmental qualification according requirements
· Support of safety assessment and approval process
· Responsible for the design over the complete development life cycle
· Involvement in System- and Product Hardware Architecture definition and specification of train signalling products
· Close collaboration with Product-, Safety-, Purchasing and Manufacturing Team

You have:

· Degree in Electrical Engineering
· Know how in digital and analog electronic design.
· Experience in safety critical or functional safety design (Avionics, Rail, Automotive)
· Knowledge in using state-of-the-art design and simulation tools (e.g. Cadence Allegro, Pspice)
· Team Player and motivated to work in an international team
· Well systematic way of working
· Good level in German and English language
