PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The mission of the SAP HANA Delivery team is to bring innovations and corrections for the SAP HANA Platform to the customer.

We plan releases, assure source code quality and ultimately transform the content of the SAP HANA source code repository into a release. Collaboration with various teams such as SAP HANA program- and product management, development, technical support as well as a vast amount of internal stakeholders that build their applications on top of the SAP HANA Platform is necessary to guarantee a release in quality and in time.

We seek experienced people to extend our SAP HANA Delivery team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

·  Be accountable for the quality of the SAP HANA Platform
·  Ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of our quality assurance processes
·  Build strong interaction across organizational boundaries and drive company-internal product adoption
·  Live innovative thinking, identify opportunities and drive innovation

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills:

·  Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
·  Background in quality assurance, ideally in the software industry
·  Outstanding analytical and logical skills
·  Strong communication skills
·  Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written

Preferred skills:

·  Experience with the continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and related tools (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins)
·  Experience as a developer or architect in large scale software projects, ideally in C++
·  Knowledge of database architecture
·  Expertise in Linux or Unix
·  Project management skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  3+ years of working experience with proven track record in software development, software quality assurance or a related field
·  Demonstrated experience in working in a distributed team over several international locations
·  Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter and tabular CV, copies of the obtained degrees and references.
