Internship Financial Controlling

Job description

Role Mission:

You will be responsible for supporting financial planning & analysis activities as well as reporting activities for the Area Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Netherlands, and overseeing the general administration. You will have an interesting insight in retail financial operations and cooperate mainly with all the finance departments (corporate and local teams) of Bottega Veneta and Kering Shared Services.

Tasks:

· Support to prepare financial reports with quantitative and qualitative information to support business decision
· Prepare monthly retail store profitability report and support financial controller to track financial performance against target including sales, margin, Opex
· Support the budgeting and forecasting process with a focus on margin planning and acts as the consolidation role of P/L, B/S and Cash Flow
· Performing checks on actual and planning scenarios about income statements and balance sheets
· Supporting the local financial teams, by ensuring the correct application of internal procedures/policies, HGB/IFRS principles
· Provide the financial analysis for ad hoc projects
· Support in general & administrative tasks

Qualifications :

Job Requirements:

·  College/university degree, with a major in Finance / Controlling
·  Analytical skills with numbers and detail oriented
·  Good knowledge in accounting
·  Required very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Hyperion is an advantage
·  Strong English communication skill, particularly in writing
·  Good knowledge in local and International accounting standards (HGB/IFRS)
·  Work well under pressure and deadlines
·  Precision and analytical problem solving skills
·  Team-oriented with a pro-active and determined attitude
·  Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
