Job description

To strengthen our team at the Frankfurt am Main site, we are looking for motivated employees to work on innovative projects in the area of pre-development and serial applications for by-wire braking systems. The focus here is on projects from the fields of sports cars, electric mobility and automated driving
As a development engineer in a vehicle test, you will have the following tasks :
- Application and testing of braking and vehicle dynamics control systems (ABS, ESC, ...) in the vehicle
- Discuss requirements and technical details with the customer
- Coordination of vehicle equipment and commissioning
- Planning and execution of application and test activities on german and international test tracks
- Validation of function and system for the relevant release levels
- Collaboration in international project teams
- Transfer of function or project responsibility depending on qualification
Qualification required
- Completed university studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering. Control technology or comparable.
- Planning and organizational skills
- Design and operation of car brake systems
- Basics of the driving dynamics control
- Process-conform series development
- Experience with requirements and version management tools
- Knowledge of fieldbus systems (CAN, FlexRay, ...) and experience with appropriate development tools
- Good language skills of German and English spoken and written
- Sympathetic and sovereign behavior
